Checklist

All Works Clean LTD: Retail & Showrooms Checklist

1. The "Glass & Chrome" Detail

  • Storefront Windows: Remove all fingerprints, dog nose smudges (common in SW London!), and street grime from eye level down.

  • Display Cases: Use a microfibre cloth and glass cleaner on all jewellery or product cabinets. Ensure no "halo" streaks remain.

  • Mirrors: Wipe top-to-bottom; check for dust build-up on the very top edge of the frame.

  • Polished Surfaces: Buff any marble, granite, or high-gloss pedestals to a mirror finish.

2. Fitting Rooms (The "Conversion" Zone)

  • Floor Detail: Vacuum right into the corners and under benches (where pins, tags, and dust bunnies hide).

  • Stool/Bench Wipe: Sanitise seating and check for any gum or sticky residue.

  • Mirror Check: This is where customers decide to buy, ensure the glass is 100% streak-free.

  • Hook & Rail Check: Dust the tops of garment rails and hooks where dust often settles.

3. Lighting & High-Level Cleaning

  • Display Lighting: Dust the tops of track lighting or pendant lamps (dust on hot bulbs can cause a smell).

  • Signage: Gently wipe down any internal branded signage or neon displays.

  • Air Vents: Ensure no "grey dust" is clinging to the vents above white merchandise.

4. Floors & Footfall Management

  • Edging: Use a crevice tool to vacuum along the skirting boards where the "fluff" from clothes collects.

  • Buffing/Mopping: Ensure hard floors have a uniform shine with no mop-bucket "tide marks."

  • Entrance Threshold: Clean the metal tracks of sliding or folding doors.

5. Behind the Scenes

  • Point of Sale (POS): Sanitise the counter where customers pay, including card machines and tablets.

  • Staff Kitchen/Stockroom: Empty bins and ensure the staff area is tidy enough to pass a snap inspection.

  • Report Inventory: Use ProCleanerUK to note if the client is low on toilet roll or hand sanitiser.
