All Works Clean LTD: Airbnb Changeover Checklist

1. The Kitchen (Heart of the Home)

  • Appliances: Clean inside/outside of microwave. Wipe down toaster (empty crumbs) and kettle (descale if needed).

  • Fridge/Freezer: Wipe shelves and crisper drawers.

  • Oven/Hob: Degrease stovetop and wipe down oven exterior and knobs.

  • Dishwasher: Empty clean dishes and check for leftover debris in the filter.

  • Supplies: Refill dish soap, replace sponge/cloth, and ensure 2 fresh tea towels are out.

  • Welcome Kit: Arrange tea, coffee, and sugar pods neatly.

2. Bathrooms (Hotel Standard)

  • Sanitise: Deep clean toilet (inside/out), shower, and tub with professional-grade disinfectant.

  • Chrome & Glass: Polish all taps, shower heads, and mirrors until streak-free.

  • Staging: Fold toilet paper into a triangle "V" shape.

  • Toiletries: Top up hand soap, shampoo, and body wash. Ensure all bottles are clean and pointing forward.

  • Towels: Lay out fresh, fluffy towels (2 bath, 2 hand) on the bed or towel rail.

3. Bedrooms (The Sleep Experience)

  • Linens: Strip old bedding and replace with fresh, ironed linens. Ensure no hairs or lint are present.

  • Staging: Plump pillows and arrange decorative cushions/throws as per the property photo.

  • Hidden Areas: Check under the bed and inside wardrobes for guest belongings or dust.

  • Dusting: Wipe down bedside tables, lamps, and mirrors.

4. Living & Dining Areas

  • Electronics: Dust the TV and ensure remote controls are visible and working.

  • Furniture: Vacuum sofa cushions and wipe down dining tables/chairs.

  • Floors: Thoroughly vacuum all carpets/rugs and mop hard floors (starting from the furthest corner).

  • High-Touch: Disinfect all light switches, door handles, and window latches.

5. Final check (Before Leaving)

  • Supply Check: Check levels of bin bags, toilet rolls, and cleaning chemicals.

  • Maintenance Scan: Check for blown lightbulbs or leaky taps.

  • Photo Proof: Take 4 photos (Living Room, Bed, Bathroom, Kitchen) and upload to ProCleaner UK.

  • Secure Property: Close all windows, turn off lights/heating, and lock the door (confirm key location).
